LT upgrade offer
This is a very exciting low cost offer to allow LT users to
upgrade to a full blown 3D suite of programs. The package is worth
£13000 retail and consists of AutoCAD 2012 (full), 3D Studio Max
Design, Sketchbook Designer, Showcase, Mudbox and Alias Design...
phew!

TutorCAD has devised a dedicated training package to use for Costain's
new EITB apprentice scheme.
01/03/2011 - Autodesk
announce new 2012 version out soon
A new release of most
of the Autodesk family of software shall soon be available. Now is the
ideal time to update any subscriptions as they will automatically
include the new 2012 version update.
17/02/2011 - Car
park updated
The car park has been extended to allow up to
28-car spaces total. The update has allowed a suitable ramp to the
main reception for disability access.
01/02/2011 - Autodesk announce continuing
rebate offer for LT
A further rebate of £300
for all new purchases of AutoCAD LT has been announced. A legacy
upgrade offer from versions of LT2007 and earlier costing only
approximately 40% of the new price has also been added.
26/01/2011 - New High-Specification Dell
PC's Delivered
It is a policy of TutorCAD to keep our
training PC's up to date with the large demands that the latest
software packages require. A large order of high-specification Dell
PC's have been delivered to our Manchester offices.

available
A new catering service has been arranged to give
all our trainees even better choices for lunch and further
refreshments.
20/12/209 - Christmas dinner and more...
Our
annual Christmas dinner was enjoyed by all including the speech by a
certain white bearded gentleman dressed in red who handed out various
presents to all staff! Afterwards there was the usual odd drink or
two.
08/11/2010 - NHS Trust training at University Hospital Staffs
A full ongoing CAD
training package including supply of AutoCAD LT2011 software has been agreed
within the University Hospital of North Staffordshire (UHNS).
03/11/2010 - MicroStation training for UK Bombardier Transport
A
MicroStation
training package for new users has been successfully
completed onsite at one of the leading manufacturers of rail equipment
including locomotives.
17/9/2010 - Inventor training for new
client Parker Hannifin
TutorCAD has successfully completed
four various grades of Inventor training at their site in Barnstaple
consisting of foundation, update/refresher and intermediate/advanced
courses. Feedback has been excellent and another course has been
scheduled for January 2011.

Update 1.1 for AutoCAD LT2011
The initial update 1.0
introduced a few unwanted features so we recommend un-installing this
version before installing version 1.1.

Autodesk announce AutoCAD for Macs
AutoCAD will soon be
able to run on a Mac and shall be available sometime this Autumn. The
code has been totally re-written to run as a native Mac program.
11/8/2010 - Another training provider signs

We

01/6/2010 - TutorCAD sponsors Manchester to Liverpool Bike-ride
Two of our trainers successfully
completed the recent 38-mile charity bike ride from Manchester to
Liverpool. TutorCAD donated money towards their ride.

Out network
team has successfully installed a 10-seat AutoCAD LT2011 CAD System,
complete with networked server running on Window 7.

Many of the Autodesk software family has seen a new release to version
2011. Upgrades from 2007 has now been dropped but upgrades from 2008
still will continue.
24/03/2010 - 2000+ Paper drawings into AutoCAD
Using our large A0 colour scanner, we have secured a contract to
insert high quality scans into AutoCAD as a hybrid file. The images
can then be manipulated and replaced with AutoCAD drawing data.

- Prismo Road Markings use TutorCAD
An intensive bespoke
course was held on-site for Prismo Road Markings Ltd. Drawings was
converted to their CNC machine successfully. Did you know they supply
most of the road markings in the UK.

Cadbury's
of Bournville fame asked us to help in training some of their staff.
No free chocolates though!

refurbishment complete
The reception area and both men's
and ladies toilets have been refurbished to a high standard. A new
disabled toilet has also been installed.

Various courses have been
